The gates of the 5 star SPA Hotel Dvoretsa were open for guests in October 2003 after an overall renovation of the building and its surroundings. This imposing building was built during the period 1949 – 1951 as a part of the architectural complex of government and official buildings including: the Presidency, the Council of Ministers and the Sheraton Hotel in Sofia.

SPA Hotel Dvoretsa is located in the centre of Velingrad, amidst one of the most beautiful pine-tree parks, 3 km away from “Kleptuza”, the one and only Karsts spring on the Balkan Peninsula, 15 km from Yundola resort and 17 km from the Tourist Village Complex “Tsigov Chark”. Situated on one of the slopes of the Chepino valley the Hotel provides a wonderful view over the mountains, the town and its mineral-water swimming pools.
SPA Hotel Dvoretsa is a 5 storey building comprising 106 fashionably furnished rooms: single; double, sky view; double, back view; double standard; junior suits and apartments and one presidential apartment. Seventy four of the rooms are specially designated for non-smokers and 10 for disabled customers. Every room in the hotel is equipped with a TV set, mini-bar, telephone, safe, hair-dryer, temperature regulator, floor t◦ conditioner, running mineral water, water closet with a bath-tube and some of the rooms with a shower-cabin. The mineral water comes from two sources - springs No 7 and 18.
